Starting the Design Process
New clients will receive a questionnaire to help me get to know their design style and preferences. Services begin with a 90-minute meeting where I will get to know you and your home. We'll discuss what your goals for the project are and how to make them happen.
Paint is one of the most impactful changes one can make to their home. Choosing colors for the home can be an overwhelming process, especially to the untrained eye. With my expertise in color theory, interior palettes, and extensive knowledge of many paint brands (including Benjamin Moore, Farrow & Ball, and Sherwin-Williams), I will assist clients throughout the entire process of selecting paint and developing interior palettes.
Materials like tile or wood flooring can make or break a room, and harmonious selections are crucial to a cohesive space. I assist clients in choosing the ideal backsplash, flooring, wallpaper, and millwork finishes for your space. We'll discuss the function and aesthetic you'd like to acheive and find the perfect finishing touches to pull your space together.
Lighting, faucets, and cabinet hardware are details that complete the look of a space. I'll use my design expertise to help you find the perfect lighting and hardware that will make the most impact.
A space is the sum of its parts, and picking furniture and décor is key. I will help you source items that suit your aesthetic and complete your space. I have a wide range of resources as well as professional pricing on many sites that will make decorating a breeze.
Using my knowledge of various graphic design programs, I can create a mood board for redesigning a space. Mood boards help visualize the look, feel, and products for a room. These boards organize inspiration and create a solid aesthetic map to follow once the design process begins in earnest. Along with the mood board, I will also include a source list of where to buy the items shown.
I can use software to create 3-dimensional representations of a space. This helps the client visualize potential changes and eases the stress of undergoing a redesign of their home. These renderings can include paint colors, material finishes, furniture, and décor.
